DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACEUTICS
The department of Pharmaceutics is one of the key departments and is equipped with state of art facilities to undertake and delivery. Apart from the pharmaceutics laboratories, pharmaceutics research laboratories and a separate industrial pharmacy lab has been established with various machines used in the pharmaceutical industries at different stages of formulations, production, quality control and packing. In course work, emphasis is placed on the fundamentals, underlying in the pharmaceuticals related subject areas. The programmer trains the students in the Pharmaceutical technology, Pharmaceutical dosage forms, advanced drug delivery systems etc. Qualified, dedicated faculties of this department are always keen to show their talents by way of technical lectures, innovation in teachings and tutorials for making skilled, better and effective practical knowledgeable in order to build up good budding pharmacists.
DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACOLOGY
Pharmacology is a discipline deals with the versatile studies of drugs from Natural Biological Origin. It provides the information about the procedures and apparatus used in the manufacturing of materials for natural origin. A medicinal Plant Garden also established with variety of medicinal plants Herbs and Species.
DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY
The department has basic Pharmaceutical Chemistry Labs and Pharmaceutical Analysis research lab with fully modernized sophisticated instruments like HPLC, calorimeter, single pan balance, Digital pH Meter, Digital Conductivity meter, Digital Fluor meter, Digital Flame Photometer and computerized UV-Double beam Spectrophotometer.
Its teaching mission includes instructions with both basic science and clinical interest in chemistry, Drug Discovery, Analytical Chemistry, Natural Products and others. Well qualified and trained faculties have been recruited to impart the quality education and training. Guest Faculties are also invited from reputed organizations to deliver specialized topics.
